Licensing agreement for the software "FamilyTreeFactory"
(Release July 2010)

This license agreement is a legally valid contract between the user of
the software and the developer of the software, the engineering consultant
Dr.-Ing. Ekkehart H. v. Renesse, Lepsiusstrasse 27, 12163, Berlin, Germany.
The user agrees to this license agreement by copying the licensed software on
a computer and by using this software. If the user does not agree to this
license agreement he is not allowed to copy or to use the software.

The software is protected by copyright laws and laws about intellectual
property. The software is not sold, but the licensee gets the permission to
use the software for an indefinite period with the restrictions of the
respective license: 

License "Private":
The software may be used only privately for the personal requirements of the
Licensee and of the relatives living in the same household. The production of
"graphics" as presents for other relatives is also part of the personal use,
but only if these graphics are not ordered or payed for. The software may not
be used commercially.

License "Pro L":
The software may be used commercially as follows: Any internal use; sale of
"graphics" up to a maximum size of 16.5 by 23.4 inch (420 by 594 mm, DIN A2).
Nobody is allowed to use the software privately.

License "Pro XL":
The software may be used commercially as follows: Any internal use; sale of
"graphics" of any size. Nobody is allowed to use the software privately.

"Graphics" according to this licensing agreement are graphic representations
created with the software and printed or saved into files. The size of
"graphics" which are saved into files results from a display in which all
contained texts are easily readable.

The licenses aren't transferable; it is not allowed to sell them.

The developer does not guarantee the suitability of the software for the
purposes of the user. The developer does not guarantee certain performance
features of the software.

The user is entitled to download (http://www.familytreefactory.com) and to
test the software as a demo version for an indefinite period and free of
charge, if he complies with the regulations of this license agreement. In
the demo version all function are available, but graphics are marked by
additional and alternative outputs of the word DEMO.

After purchasing one of the three lincenses desribed above the user receives
licensing information. After entering the licensing information into the
software the output of the word DEMO will be avoided. The licensing
information is confidential. If the licensing information comes to unauthorized
persons the rigth of use expires without refund of the license fee.

For image files possibly installed with the program there can exist special
copyrights. These are mentioned in the corresponding directories into text
files. 

The developer offers at his own discretion and with the right of termination
a support free of charge. The support is offered by email
(info@familytreefactory.com) and via a support forum
(http://support.familytreefactory.com). The termination of the support will
be announced in the support forum at least six months beforehand.

Place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.
